
Miami FC Holds Invitational Tryouts

Miami, Florida, February 11, 2010 - Miami FC takes another critical step in building a team for the 2010 season this weekend as they host invitational tryouts.
The event will take place at Ted Hendricks Stadium, beginning Feb. 12 and ending Feb. 14, where players invited by the team will attempt to earn a spot on the opening day roster.
"This is probably one of the most important events we run all year," said Miami FC Director of Soccer Fernando Clavijo. "We get to see a lot of talented players come out and try to earn a spot on our roster, and we are confident that the talent that will be present at these tryouts will help us reach our goals for the 2010 season."
The following are the scheduled times for the invitational tryouts:
Friday, Feb. 12 - 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 13 - 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 14 - 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Fans and media are invited to come and follow the tryouts. Admission will be free.
Open tryouts will take place on Feb. 20 and 21 at Weston Regional Park. For more information visit www.miamifc.com.
