Marysville Meteors News Release


The Marysville Meteors defeated the Holland Blast 133-117 in Holland. The Blast were led by Dominick Melton (6'6''-F, college: Wisc.-Parkside) and Terrance Shaw (6'5''-F, college: Ferris St.) with 20points and 19points respectively. The Meteors were again led by their dynamic duo of Mike Brownlee (6'2''-G-75, college: Charleston) and Estaban Weaver (6'4''-G, college: Central State). Estaban Weaver tallied the top overall scoring total for the game with 42points on an awe-striking 15-19FG to continue to lead the IBL in scoring. Mike Brownlee, who is leading the league in assists and 3's per game and is 2nd in scoring thus far, had an amazingly full statline of 40points on 13-23FG, 9-17 3pt, 8assists, 6rebounds, 2steals, and a block. Charles Warren (6'1''-G, college: Findlay (OH)) rounded out the double figure scorers for Marysville with 13points. Warren also held a red hot Dennis Springs (5'8''-G, college: Ferris St.) to 17points after consecutive 30+ games.
