MEMPHIS XPLORERS (5-9) AT GREEN BAY BLIZZARD (2-12)

SATURDAY, JULY 19, 2003 -THE RESCH CENTER (8,327) 8:30 P.M. ET The Green Bay Blizzard hosts the Memphis Xplorers for the first meeting between these teams in af2 history. The Xplorers and the Blizzard are both coming off tough losses last week, and they hope to bounce back and end their seasons on a good note. While Green Bay is eliminated from playoff contention, it still has the ability to shake things up a bit as Memphis is not out of the picture quite yet, clinging to the ninth spot in the National Conference, just two games back from the final Wild Card spot. Green Bay quarterback RAMON ROBINSON will have to be at his best as he faces Xplorer defensive specialist KEVIN COBB, who has recorded 72.0 tackles this season to lead the team and rank him third in the league. Cobb has also defended 38 passes which also makes him third in the league. Cobb has been a huge part of Memphis' strength on defense, which is evident in its sixth ranked defensive points and yards per game.
