Calgary, AB - Mark Pysyk and the Edmonton Oil Kings (10-29-4-7) host Emerson Etem and the Medicine Hat Tigers (28-15-3-5) for the back half of a home-and-home series between the Central Division combatants.

Rogers Sportsnet.pngThe Tigers mauled the Oil Kings 9-2 in Medicine Hat on Saturday night for their second win in a row, and currently sit in fourth place in the Eastern Conference. The Tigers saw nine different players score in Saturday's victory over the Oil Kings.
The Oil Kings saw their losing skid hit 13 games with Saturday's loss in Medicine Hat, and remain in 12th place in the Eastern Conference. The Oil Kings have scored an Eastern Conference-low 113 goals this season.
Elsewhere on Sunday, Chris Francis and the Portland Winterhawks (29-19-1-1) welcome Brendan Gallagher and the Vancouver Giants (29-18-1-2) for a battle between top-tour teams in the Western Conference in WHL action on Sunday.
The Winterhawks skated to a 6-1 win in Kent, WA, over the Seattle Thunderbirds on Saturday night for their 16th road win of the season, and currently sit in fourth place in the Western Conference. The Winterhawks have alternated wins and losses over their last seven games. Francis (21g-37a) leads the Winterhawks in scoring with 58 points this season.
The Giants dropped a 4-2 decision in Kennewick, WA, to the Tri-City Americans on Friday night for their second straight defeat, but remain comfortably in first place in the B.C. Division and second place in the conference. The Giants own the League's third-ranked power play and penalty killing units. Gallagher ranks second on the Giants with 28 goals this season.
It's the third meeting of the season between the Hawks and Giants. The Giants are 2-0 versus the Winterhawks this season.
In Everett, WA, Shane Harper and the Silvertips (30-16-2-1) welcome Kyle Beach and the Spokane Chiefs (27-16-3-1) for a U.S. Division battle.
The Silvertips edged the Winterhawks 4-3 in Portland on Friday night to stretch their winning streak to 11 games, and currently sit in third place in the Western Conference. The 'Tips are 14-8-1-1 on home ice this season.
The Chiefs got by the Ams 3-2 in Kennewick, WA, on Saturday for their third victory in their last four games, and currently sit in fifth place in the Western Conference. Beach scored his 29th goal of the season in Saturday's win, tying his single-season personal best from his rookie season in 2006-07 when he was a Silvertip.
In Calgary, AB, Joel Broda and the Calgary Hitmen (31-15-1-1) host Mitch Maxwell and the Lethbridge Hurricanes (16-26-3-2) for a Central Division match-up on Sunday.
The Hitmen blanked the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors 5-0 on Friday night for their second straight victory, and currently share first place in the Central Division with Medicine Hat. Broda scored three goals in Friday's win in his first game back after recovering from an injury.
The Hurricanes are coming off a 4-1 win over the visiting Edmonton Oil Kings on Friday night, snapping a three-game losing skid. The Hurricanes are 8-14-0-2 on the road this season.
In Regina, SK, Jordan Weal and the Regina Pats (22-24-3-1) host Jesse Ismond and the Kootenay Ice (30-16-1-2) on Sunday.
The Pats are coming off two victories over the Swift Current Broncos on Friday and Saturday, improving them to 5-0-0-1 over their last six games. Weal has racked up three goals and seven points over his last two games.
The Ice saw their 14-game winning streak come to an end with a 5-2 loss in Prince Albert on Saturday night, and currently sit in fifth place in the Eastern Conference. Ismond has scored six goals over his last six games.
