Medical Update: Lee Desmond

Sacramento Republic FC News Release
Sacramento, Calif. - Republic FC Defender Lee Desmond successfully underwent a procedure on his right leg to address lingering retrocalcaneal bursitis and achilles tendonitis. Team Physician Dr. Eric Giza performed the surgery and will continue to oversee Lee's recovery with staff at the UC Davis Health Sports Medicine Program. He is expected to miss the remainder of the 2022 season. Following a 10-12 week recovery, Desmond will expected to be ready for the start of preseason for the 2023 season.
