Game Highlights - Hogan McIntosh's two RBI performance, backed by a solid pitching performance, helped the Crosscutters to a 5-3 win, effectively taking the weekend series from the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.
McIntosh finished the night 2-for-4 with a triple, a run scored and two RBI as he was able to up his batting average to .220 for the season.
Daniel Harris IV went a perfect 3-for-3 with an RBI, becoming the 12th Cutters batter to record a three-hit game. Harris is now hitting .318 on the season.
Matthew Etzel got back in the swing of things, going 2-for-3 with a pair of runs scored and a double. Etzel is batting .423 with a 1.170 OPS this season.
Starter Aaron Rogers worked a pair of perfect innings, striking out two along the way.
Reliever Braden Nett earned his 2nd win of the season, allowing one hit over a pair of scoreless frames.
Reliever Antonio Escano earned his 1st save of the season, working a perfect 9th inning.
The Cutters improve to 13-3 at home, matching their home win total of 2021. They are a perfect 4-0 on Sundays in 2022.
