
McGovern Physical Therapy Associates hired to treat Pride

McGovern Physical Therapy Associates, the personal care professionals, announces that three of their therapists have signed with the Nashua Pride to be the team physical therapists.
McGovern Physical Therapy Associates (MPTA) staff that are treating the Nashua Pride are President, Kevin J. McGovern, PT, DPT, CSCS, Revere Clinical Director, Sean M. Flaherty, PT and Malden Clinical Director, Glenn R. D'Addario, MSPT.
"With a 95 game season schedule, the additional work load will be quite extensive. However, when a professional sports organization calls and requests you, you answer the call," says Kevin J. McGovern, PT, DPT, CSCS and president of McGovern Physical Therapy Associates. "Sean, Glenn and I work as a cohesive unit and will be able to deliver the Pride players, and our patients, the absolute best care."
Dr. McGovern founded MPTA over six years ago, expanding with clinics located in Revere, Malden and Beverly, MA. McGovern earned his Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Simmons College in Boston, MA. Kevin has over thirteen years of clinical experience and is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. Kevin is a 7-handicap golfer and a pitcher is various competitive baseball leagues in the Greater Boston area.
Mr. Flaherty joined the MPTA team two years ago with over eleven years of clinical experience from outpatient, hospital and home care settings. Mr. Flaherty earned his Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University.
Mr. D'Addario joined MPTA almost three years ago, with over four years of clinical experience. Mr. D'Addario earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Notre Dame College, his Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce College and is currently perusing his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree also at Franklin Pierce College located in Manchester, NH.
