
Mayor Buddy Dyer Proclaims March 23-29 as "Orlando Predators Week"

ORLANDO - Mar. 23, 2015 - In advance of the Orlando Predators 2015 season opener on Sunday, March 29 at 7:00pm, Mayor Buddy Dyer proclaimed the week of March 23-29 as "Orlando Predators Week."
Mayor Dyer welcomed and recognized Orlando Predators Owner David Siegel and team leaders and thanked them for their commitment to the community during a city council meeting today.
The Orlando Predators will open the 2015 season on Sunday, March 29 at the Amway Center against the Philadelphia Soul. The game is dedicated to active military and veterans. Two special WWII veterans will be recognized and Grammy Award-winning recording artist Lee Greenwood will be the featured performer. In addition, Mayor Dyer will kick off the 2015 season by conduct the coin toss at the start of the game.
Owner David Siegel has already donated 3,000 tickets to the game to former and current U.S. military personnel. The Orlando Predators season opener will also be nationally televised on ESPN2.
