
LA KISS Scrimmage Game Raises $9,188.00 for Childrens Hospital of Orange County

The day started with a press conference on the LA KISS Football field at Honda Center, where new CEO Joe Windham, Co-owner Paul Stanley, Co-owner Doc McGhee, coach Bob McMillen, and LA KISS players Donovan "Captain" Morgan, and Adrian McPherson spoke to the media about the 2015 LA KISS season and the FREE Scrimmage game between the San Jose Sabercats that evening. Fans had donation opportunities, where money donated at the game would benefit Children's Hospital of Orange County.
Fans had the opportunity to meet Paul Stanley, receive an LA KISS collectable bobble head, or a get a collectable T-shirt with a donation.
With the help of the LA KISS fans, and Dollar loan center, a total of $9,188.00 was raised for Children's Hospital of Orange County.
The scrimmage game between the San Jose Sabercats was a close game, with LA KISS coming out with the win. San Jose was the first team to score, and took a 6 -0 lead into late in the first quarter, until LA KISS tied the game heading into the second quarter. At the half both teams headed to the locker rooms with the game tied at 21. The Sabercats started the third quarter with a touchdown given them the lead 27-21. LA KISS was able to score on a great one handed touchdown catch to tie the game at 27.
With 4 minutes and 18 seconds in the 4th quarter, LA KISS scored given the LA KISS the lead 34-27.

LA KISS opens the 2015 AFL (Arena Football League) season on the road against the Portland Thunder on Saturday, March 27th and week two in San Jose. LA KISS will play the home opener at Honda Center on April 11th against the new expansion team Las Vegas outlaws.
