Tinton Falls, N.J. - Sky Blue FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) announced today that Maya Hayes is expected to miss 2-4 weeks as a result of an MCL sprain she suffered this past weekend when the team played the Western New York Flash in Rochester, N.Y.

Hayes, 24, suffered the injury in the first half against Western New York on Saturday night, forcing Sky Blue FC head coach Christy Holly to use his first substitute in the 24th minute. The New Jersey native has made five starts over six appearances during the 2016 NWSL season, registering a team-leading two goals during 355 minutes of play.

Sky Blue FC will travel to the Chicago Red Stars this Sunday night before returning home to Yurcak Field on Saturday, June 11th, to host FC Kansas City at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for that match are available now.

Half-season, flex and individual tickets for Sky Blue FC are all on sale! For any questions regarding tickets, call the Sky Blue FC tickets department at 888-SBFC-TIX (888-723-2849), and a team representative will be happy to assist you.
