The Mavs dominated the first period of play! Again Josh Pace and Jermaine Blackburn got SETX out and running with their solid play on both ends of the court. Jon Rogers and Alex Sanders controlled the paint, while point guard Herman Favors ran the show as the Mavericks cruised to a big lead at the end of the first quarter 45-15.

The onslaught continued in the second quarter as the Mavs continued the lead big! Back up Mavs point guard Kenny Dawkins continued his recent outstanding play as he continued to control things on court for Southeast Texas. The Mavs took a 80-43 lead to the locker-room at halftime.

After the break SETX continued where they had left off in the first half as Mike Crain, Anthony Lumpkin, DeSean While, DeRon Rutledge, and Pace just continued to set the tone and tempo for the game. At the start of the fourth quarter the Mavericks emptied their bench and the Mavericks cruised to a 163-108 win.
