Mavericks Saddle Stallions on the Road

February 27, 2011 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Southeast Texas Mavericks News Release

The #1 ranked SETX Mavericks (25-1) defeated the OKlahoma Stallions 123-90 Saturday night in Oklahoma City.

The Mavericks came out fast and took control of the game early. The very athletic Stallions battled, but the Mavericks were just too big and had too much depth for the Stallions to sustain a winning effort over the course of an entire game.

SETX continued its balanced attack as seven Mavericks scored in double figures. Odell Bradley led the way with 25 points. Brandon Davis followed up with 12 points. Desmond Cambridge, PJ Cousinard, Hollis Giles, and Jon Rogers all put in 11 points. DeSean White chipped in 10 points. Andre Valentine led the Stallions with 22 points. Steven Dunn put in 20 points. Marchello Veally scored 19 points respectively.

The Mavericks will be back in action on Tuesday night as they will host the Arlington Bulldogs at the NJEC Arena in Winnie, TX. Tip-off will be at 7:30 PM.
