Mavericks Pre-Season #1 in ABA Power Rankings

The Southeast Texas Mavericks begin the 2010-11 ABA season in a familiar position as the #1 ranked team in the ABA Power Rankings.

The Mavericks continue their run as the #1 ranked ABA Team for now 15 consecutive weeks dating back to last season when SETX remained as the #1 ranked team in the American Basketball Association for a record 14 consecutive weeks.

During two seasons the SETX Mavericks have amassed 54 wins, 2 Southwest Division Championships, 30 straight regular season victories, and won the 2010 ABA National Championship.

The Mavericks defeated their rival the Kentucky Bisons this past March 29th, 2010 85-76 to win the ABA Finals 2 games to 1 in the 3 game series. The Bisons come into the 2010-11 season as the #2 ranked team in the nation.

The Mavericks open up their Pre-Season Training Camp this week here in Beaumont & Winnie, TX.

The Mavericks tip-off play and defense of their National Championship on Thursday,

November 11th as they host the Texas Hurricanes. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM.

Nutty Jerry's Entertainment Center (NJEC) is now OPEN and will be the new home of the Mavericks! The NJEC is located at 18291 Englin Road in Winnie, TX 77665 off Highway 73.
