Also helping the team out was receiver Machion Sanders who caught three touchdown passes and recorded 101 yards receiving on the night.

Rome is a strong team that the Maulers cannot underestimate but must be prepared for. During the regular season, the Renegades were eighth in the league in scoring defense allowing only 40.9 points per game. The Renegades were also ranked third in red zone defense keeping the opponent from scoring 60.4 percent of the time.

Offensively Rome is ranked 11th in scoring offense averaging 44.5 points a game. In red zone offense, the Renegades are 17th in the league scoring from the red zone 65.3 percent of the time.

The Maulers offense has seen a dramatic improvement since midseason as they have scored more than 50 points in four of their last five home games. The passing game has become more diverse as the quarterback has become more comfortable and confident with the indoor game.

Saturday's game will feature two good teams that are itching to advance to the conference championships the following week. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CDT at Garrett Coliseum with all tickets $10.
