OTTAWA - On the verge of qualifying for the playoffs, the Fury FC will hit the road early this week to face the Swope Park Rangers Tuesday, October 8 at 8pm.
After an excellent game against the Indy Eleven last week, Fury FC will try to keep their focus and add another victory to their record. Nikola Popovic's side has demonstrated a very good collective game and an exemplary combativeness during the last few weeks, which is promising as the playoffs are knocking at the door. Currently in 8th place in the Eastern Conference with 48 points, Fury FC will meet Swope Park Rangers, ranked 17th in the conference. Already eliminated from the playoff race, Swope Park Rangers has had a tough season with only 6 wins with a -27-goal differential.
The first encounter between the two teams in July ended with a 4-0 mark in favor of Fury FC. Goals from Haworth, Oliveira, François and Fall propelled the team to a convincing victory.
