Atlanta United 2 continued its good home form Wednesday, July 11 in a 2-1 win over Bethlehem Steel FC. Goals from Brandon Vazquez and Oliver Shannon helped improve the team's home record to 3-1-3. ATL UTD 2 was the aggressor all night as the club took a season-high 20 shots. Vazquez scored his second goal of the season while Shannon netted his first professional goal, which proved to be the match-winner, as Bethlehem grabbed a late goal through Derrick Jones.

Last time out on Friday, July 13, Richmond Kickers lost to New York Red Bulls II 5-1. Jared Stroud scored a hat trick while Amando Moreno and Brian White added tallies. Brian Shriver netted Richmond's lone goal.

Saturday's match marks the first meeting between the two teams.
