Saturday's match marks the third match in the current four-match homestand for Arizona United SC, who enter the match coming off of a 3-2 loss to the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on May 2. Two-second half goals from forward Jonathan Top and midfielder Jose "Chiva" Cuevas were not enough, as Arizona United SC saw its losing streak extend to three league matches.

"As soon as that game was finished I think we are all chomping at the bit to get back to practice. We want to correct some things and get back out here on Saturday. We definitely have that (hunger) regardless of the result," said Arizona United SC defender Rob Valentino.

Arizona United SC is led by forwards Dennis Chin (2011 USL leading goal scorer) and Long Tan (franchise leader with seven goals) who are currently tied for the team lead in goals with two each. Second-year professional, Jacole Turner, made his first career start last week against the Switchbacks FC in place of regular goalkeeper Carl Woszczynski, who sat out due to an illness.

The Tulsa Roughnecks arrive in Scottsdale looking to bounce back from a 2-0 loss to Louisville City FC on April 25. The Roughnecks are led by midfielder Eli Galbraith-Knapp (one goal) and forward Lucas Cordeiro (one goal).
