Joe Powell (Texas State University) relived Brooks in the seventh inning and allowed one run on a wild pitch. With the bases loaded, Brandon Texiera (LSU Shreveport) came on in relief and induced an inning-ending ground out.
The Marshals added two insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth inning as Nick Ramos (Stephen F.
