Marshals Can't Rally Against Generals, Lose 3-2
Last night the Texas Marshals hosted the Victoria Generals in the second game of their two-game series at Graham Field (Prestonwood Baptist Church campus) in Plano. Down by a score of 3-2 the Marshals were unable to drive in the runner in scoring position in the bottom of the ninth inning with two outs. The Generals won both games of the series.

James Swan earned the victory giving up just three hits and no runs in four innings of shutout relief when he appeared in the fifth inning. Bryce Brandl led the Generals' offense, going 2-for-4 with a RBI.
Danny Garrett earned the loss, going six innings and giving up three runs (all earned). Tyler Bates led the Marshals' offense going 4-for-5 with a RBI.
The Marshals are off today. The team then goes on the road for a two-game series starting Tuesday night against the Acadiana Cane Cutters.
Thursday night, July 23, the Marshals return home for another two-game series against the Victoria Generals. Game time will be 7:05 pm.
