
Marques Hayden joins Seattle Mountaineers

Seattle, WA-The Seattle Mountaineers has announced that Marques Hayden has been added to the team's 2007 roster.
Hayden, 6'7", was a prep star at Putnam City High School (Oklahoma) before moving on to Kansas State University. At Putnam, Hayden twice earned first team All-State honors, and was named the 6A Big City and Metro Athletic Conference Player of the Year as a senior (2002).
Seattle Mountaineers President/Head Coach Don Sims-'I believe Marques will be one of the top players in the IBL this season. I am looking forward to helping him develop, because he definitely has the potential to play this game at the highest level.'
The Seattle Mountaineers' 2007 season kicks off on Friday, March 30 with a road trip to take on the Salem Stampede.
