Mariners Stop Losing Skid, Defeat Bristol 5-2

Pulaski, VA- After losing six straight on the road, Pulaski returned to Historic Calfee Park Saturday night where they defeated the Bristol White Sox 5 to 2.

M's leadoff man Brock Hebert took charge at the plate where he went 3 for 3 with 2 SB, 1 BB, and scored three runs for Pulaski. Hebert finished the night as the only Mariner with a multi-hit game, however, LF Phillips Castillo blasted his fourth homer of the year in the bottom of the sixth giving Pulaski a 4-2 lead.

Charles Kaalekahi fabricated yet another quality start, securing his second win of the season while pitching six innings allowing one earned run and fanning seven Bristol batters.

David Holman tallied his team-high fourth save of the year as he shutdown the White Sox in the ninth.

The Mariners will take on Bristol again tomorrow (7/22), 4 p.m., at Historic Calfee Park.
