The Pulaski Mariners are providing the community three opportunities to meet the Mariners of the future in the days before Opening Night.
Monday night, June 16th, the team will be at the Pulaski Theater for the showing of The Pride of the Yankees. The movie begins at 7:10 p.m., but arrive early for an autograph session beginning at 6:30.
Tuesday offers fans the first chance to see their hometown team in action with an exhibition game against the Catawba Stars-a wooden bat team of college players. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Historic Calfee Park. Gates open at 6:00 PM.
The Annual Meet the Mariners luncheon, presented by the Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce, is planned for Wednesday beginning at noon. For only $13 fans will have the chance to meet the team face-to-face while enjoying food prepared by the Mariners' famous outdoor grill. Entertainment will also be provided during the luncheon.
The week of events culminates on Thursday with Pulaski's first regular season game against the Burlington Royals. The game begins at 7:00 p.m. Do not miss out on all of the fun of Opening Night.
Mariners' Notes: The Calfee Park ticket office is open weekdays from 10 AM - 6 PM and Saturdays from 11-3. Fans can purchase tickets in person at Calfee Park or by calling the Mariners' office at (540) 980-1070. The 2014 Pulaski Mariners are now in the process of reporting to training camp in Peoria, Arizona. The roster for the 2014 team will be finalized soon.
