FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Thursday, October 8, 2015) - Fort Lauderdale Strikers midfielder James Marcelin has been called up by the Haiti national team for their upcoming match against El Salvador at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston on Friday at 9 p.m. EDT. He will subsequently miss the Strikers match at Minnesota United FC on Saturday.

The Haitian international has been named to the North American Soccer League (NASL) Team of the Week three times this year. Marcelin made 15 appearances, all starts, for the Strikers in 2014 as the club reached the NASL Championship Final.
