
Marauders Host Yankees For Fun-Filled Weekend

Bradenton, Fla. - The Bradenton Marauders host the Tampa Yankees for a four-game series from Thursday, July 19 through Sunday, July 22. The games on Thursday, Friday and Saturday will begin at 6:30pm with gates opening at 5:30pm. All Sunday home games start at 5:00pm, with gates opening at 4:30pm.
The series begins on Thursday night with the Marauders Halfway to St. Patty's Day celebration. Gold Coast Eagle Distributing will be providing free Irish beer sampling. The Sarasota Pipe Band will perform live music. Thirsty Thursday specials presented by Budweiser include $1 sodas and select draft beers, and in honor of the Irish celebration there will be $1 green beers.
On Friday, July 20 the Bark in the Park summer series continues with a special Marauders leash giveaway. The first 500 fans will receive a leash. Dogs are welcome at the game for an extra $2 added to the price of a ticket. The $2 will be donated to the Humane Society of Manatee County. Fans are encouraged to dress their dog up for the game. Prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed dog. Sentimental Art of Florida will be at the game and will have examples of their custom portraits on display. It is also a Happy Hour Friday presented by Pier 22 Restaurant. From 5:30pm-6:30pm there will be free hot dogs and drink specials provided by Kayem and Cheney Brothers.
July 21 will truly be a Super Saturday as the Marauders host Super Hero Night. The first 500 fans will receive a Marauders cape courtesy of Pepsi. Fans will receive free Batman movie posters and have the opportunity to win free movie tickets courtesy of Carmike Cinemas Royal Palm 20. The night will also feature special Super Hero appearances and prize giveaways from the Comic Shack in Bradenton. Fans are encouraged to dress up as their favorite super hero.
The series wraps up on Sunday, July 22 with a Bob Evans Fun Day Sunday. Fans 13 and under receive a free meal voucher with paid admission to the game. Fans using complimentary general admission ticket vouchers for the game must pay for the $2 upgrade to a reserved seat to receive the meal voucher. Fans 13 and under will also have the opportunity to run the bases after the game. Gates will open at 4:00pm on Sunday, July 22.
The Marauders go on the road on Monday, July 23, but fans can enjoy Marauders Fan Appreciation Day with Papa John's pizza. Bradenton Marauders flex packs remain available for the second half of the season. This flex pack costs $50 and includes 10 general admission ticket vouchers to Bradenton Marauder home games. These tickets are exchangeable for any 2012 home game the rest of the season excluding Wednesday games.
