
Manatees Lose Fifth Game in Row

Miami â The Miami Manatees lost their fifth game in a row, as they fell to the Macon Trax 6-0 in front of 1300 fans. The loss was also the fifth game on a six-game road trip for the Manatees.
The Manatees were unable to get any pucks past goaltender Andy Kollar, who turned aside 20 shots, many of those on quality scoring chances for the Manatees. Manatees goaltender Sean Weaver made 21 saves on 27 Macon shots. The Manatees power-play went 0 -8 on the night, while the Trax were able to capitalize on two of their six chances.
The Miami Manatees remain unbeaten at home this season, and they return back to Miami to take on the Alabama Slammers Saturday at 7:00pm and Sunday at 5:00pm. Fans are requested to bring an unwrapped toy for donation to the Toys for Tot's program. After Sunday's game, fans are invited to skate on the Miami Arena ice with the Manatees players.
The Miami Manatees will face off against the Alabama Slammers, Jacksonville Barracudas, Lakeland Loggerheads, Macon Trax, and Orlando Seals in the WHA2's inaugural season. All games will be broadcast on www.irn.fm.
