Manatees Defeat Seals, 4-3

Miami - Manatees defenseman Dmitri Doulebenets scored the game-winning goal with 50 seconds left in the third period to lead the Manatees to a 4-3 victory over the Orlando Seals. With the win at the Miami Arena, the Manatees have earned a point in every game this season and remain in first place in the WHA2. Tom Perry, Eric Perricone, and Todd Nowicki also scored goals, and Sean Weaver turned aside 28 of 30 shots for his fourth win of the season.

The Miami Manatees play in the Miami Arena as part of the six-team WHA2. The Miami Manatees will face off against the Alabama Slammers, Jacksonville Barracudas, Lakeland Loggerheads, Macon Trax, and Orlando Seals in the WHA2's inaugural season.
