Mammoth Season Begins January 2 at Pepsi Center

Denver, Colo. - The Colorado Mammoth and National Lacrosse League today announced the 2003-04 season schedule including a January 2 Mammoth season opener at Pepsi Center and a 4 p.m. start for the 2004 All-Star Game in Denver.

"This is a terrific schedule for the Mammoth," said Steve Govett, general manager. "The success of the Mammoth spurred an expansion of the National Lacrosse League over the summer. Now, we'll get the chance to play in what is basically a brand new Western Division." The NLL has announced that new teams will play this season in Anaheim, Phoenix and San Jose.

"There's a great chance to develop some new rivalries and we look forward to seeing these teams play," said Colorado Mammoth team captain Gary Gait.

The NLL today also announced a new divisional alignment. Teams playing in the Eastern Division include Buffalo, Philadelphia, Rochester and Toronto. The Colorado Mammoth moves to the Western Division, playing with Anaheim, Arizona, Calgary, San Jose and Vancouver.

An on-sale date for single game tickets will be announced in November. Season tickets starting at $69 per seat are on sale now by calling 303.405.1101.
