
Mamadou N\'Diaye is seventh Gatorade Callup of season

GREENVILLE, S.C., February 18 â Asheville Altitude center Mamadou N'Diaye has signed a 10-day contract with the Atlanta Hawks, making him the seventh NBDL-to-NBA "Gatorade Callup" of the season for the National Basketball Development League.
Since the NBDL began competition in November 2001, 21 players have received 29 "Gatorade Callups" to play for NBA teams. N'Diaye is the first callup for Asheville this season and the fourth all-time.
N'Diaye played in six games since joining the Altitude Feb. 5, averaging 21.0 minutes, 8.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks. He recorded single-game highs of 17 points against Roanoke on Feb. 7 and 13 rebounds against Huntsville on Feb. 13.
