Mallards/VFW Jersey Auction Friday; Save with $2dogs/Beers Friday

MOLINE, Ill. - The Quad City Mallards will wear spe cial edition military-themed jerseys when they take on the Alaska Aces Friday night at 7:05 p.m. at the iWireless Center and those jerseys will be auctioned off after that game to benefit VFW Post 1303 in Rock Island.

The Mallards and Aces will meet not only on Friday but also on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. and fans will have the chance to save both evenings: Friday brings the return of $2 Dog/$2 Beer Night presented by 97X; on Saturday fans can enjoy even more savings with the Family 4-Pack.

Friday night, the Mallards will pay tribute to those who have served in the armed forces by wearing their green military-themed jerseys in game action for the second time this season. The Mallards debuted those jerseys on Veterans Day in a victory over the Toledo Walleye and since then have donned the special edition sweaters during warmups prior to every home game.

This Friday brings another opportunity for fans to enjoy $2 hot dogs and beers from iWireless Center concession stands. Discounted dogs and beers are available during every Friday Mallards home game. In addition, the Mallards have once again this season partnered with Metro to provide transit service between Augustana College and downtown Moline during all Friday home games. As part of Metro's unlimited ride program, Augustana riders can use their Augustana ID as their fare.

Fans who purchase the Family 4-Pack for Saturday night's game will receive four lower bowl tickets, four Chick-Fil-A sandwiches and four chuck-a-puck bundles all for just $64. The Family 4-Pack is available in person at the Mallards' business office at the iWireless Center or by calling the Mallards at 309-277-1364.

Single game tickets for all Mallards regular season home games- including this weekend's games- are on sale now at the iWireless Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000 . The box office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
