Mallards Playoff Hockey Returns to IWireless Center Wednesday, Friday

MOLINE, Ill. - The Quad City Mallards return home for game three of their Central Division semifinal series against the Fort Wayne Komets Wednesday night at 6:35 p.m. and for game four Friday evening at 7:05 p.m. If the best-of-seven opening round ECHL Kelly Cup playoff series goes to a fifth game, that contest will be played at the iWireless Center Saturday night at 7:05 p.m.

Game three will start, like Mallards regular season Wednesday night games, at the special 6:35 p.m. faceoff time. The Mallards trail the Komets two games to none heading into game three after dropping the first two games of the series last weekend in Fort Wayne.

Friday night brings not only game four but also the return of $ 2 Dog/$2 Beer Night presented by 97X. Fans can enjoy $2 hot dogs and beers from iWireless Center concession stands during every Friday Mallards home game. In addition, t he Mallards have once again this season partnered with Metro to provide transit service between Augustana College and downtown Moline during all Friday home games. As part of Metro's unlimited ride program, Augustana riders can use their Augustana ID as their fare.

The series will go to a fifth game Saturday night if the Mallards defeat the Komets in either game three or game four.

The box office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
