
Mallards Open Training Camp October 5

MOLINE, Ill. - The Quad City Mallards will open their 2016 training camp Wednesday, October 5 at the iWireless Center, the Mallards announced today.
The Mallards will begin preparations for their twentieth season with double sessions on four of the first five days of camp. On October 5 as well as on Thursday, October 6, Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9, the Mallards will take the ice from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and again from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m.
All but one of the training camp sessions will be held at the iWireless Center. Camp will shift to the River's Edge in Davenport for a single session on Friday, October 7 from 8:45 to 10:15 a.m.
The Mallards will also hold single practices during the second week of camp. The Flock will hit the ice at the iWireless Center from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 10 through Thursday October 13. Coach and general manager Terry Ruskowski's troops will then open the season on Friday, October 14 at 7:05 p.m. against the Fort Wayne Komets at the iWireless Center.
All training camp sessions are open to the public free of charge. The camp schedule is subject to change. The iWireless Center is located at 1201 River Drive in Moline, while the River's Edge is located at 700 West River Drive in Davenport. The full training camp schedule is detailed below.
Single game tickets for all regular season Mallards home games- including the October 14 opener- are now available.
