Coming soon to wherever you get your podcasts is a fresh new take on MASL soccer. MASL Monday will feature the voices of Pablo Maurer (@MLSist) of the Athletic and Adam Snavely (@snaves), a self-described "soccer weirdo." Each week the duo will give insight into the weekend's games and talk about the best the MASL has to offer from their unique lens.
Maurer is a staff writer for The Athletic who covers soccer in North America, with a particular focus on the history and culture of the game. As a photographer, Pablo's work documenting long-abandoned spaces has earned him a global following. He was also a mechanic for 20 years prior to his second life as a journalist, but that's an entirely different story, one you might hear about from time to time on the podcast.
Adam Whittaker Snavely is a writer and podcaster living in Los Angeles, CA. His writing has appeared in publications such as The Athletic and Dot Esports, as well as blogs like Stars and Stripes FC and other SB Nation sites. He formed one half of the Dead Ball Brothers podcasting duo, and is also a frequent contributor to the Total Soccer Show. He fell in love with the sport partially due to a Brazilian mother, and partially because of the strange and wonderful sporting landscape that is American soccer.
