Boston, MA (July 3, 2006) - Members of the New Jersey Pride are set to appear on COLD PIZZA on ESPN2, Tuesday, July 4th. All-Stars Jesse Hubbard and Ryan McClay will join teammates Rob Parengukaun and Joe Ghedina on the set to discuss playing for New Jersey, Major League Lacrosse and also demonstrate some stick tricks and perform a shooting demonstration. The members of the Pride will also discuss the partnership between Major League Lacrosse and Cascade Lacrosse in order to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer. MLL players will wear pink helmets at the July 6th All Star Game.

A silent auction for the helmets will be launched at the game and continue on the Major League Lacrosse website (www.majorleaguelacrosse.com) through July 20. All funds raised will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, which devotes its resources to breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment programs.

The helmets will feature combinations of logos from the All-Star players home team, Major League Lacrosse and the breast cancer ribbon. The helmets will be personally signed by members of the MLL All Star squad and other prominent lacrosse players.

Hubbard, a six year veteran of the league has scored 201 career goals and has notched 276 points. He has played in every All Star game as a member of the Pride. This season he has scored 24 points and leads the team in assists with 15. McClay is a two-time All-Star and a three-year veteran of the Pride. Parengkuan is a two-year league veteran who was a Lance Corporal in the Marine Corps and Ghedina is a six year veteran of the league.
