Maine's Tim Frazier Named NBA Development League Performer of the Week

NEW YORK, Dec. 8, 2014 - Maine Red Claws guard Tim Frazier was today named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played Monday, Dec. 1 - Sunday, Dec. 7. The honor is the first of Frazier's career and the first for the Red Claws this season.

Frazier (6-1, 170, Penn State) recorded the fifth double-double in Red Claws history when he recorded 18 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists in a 122-114 win over the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Dec. 6. Earlier in the week, he finished with 11 points and nine rebounds in a 110-106 victory over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. For the week, he averaged just shy of a triple-double, with 14.5 points on 46 percent shooting from the floor to go with 9.5 rebounds and 8.5 assists in two Red Claws wins.

For the season, Frazier is averaging 15.6 points, 7.1 assists and 7.0 rebounds.

Other top performers considered include Austin's Bryce Cotton, Bakersfield's Renaldo Major, Fort Wayne's Andre Emmett, Iowa's Diante Garrett, Los Angeles' Roscoe Smith, Rio Grande Valley's Gary Talton, Sioux Falls' Khem Birch and Texas' Renaldo Balkman.
