Lewiston MAINEiacs News Release


Lewiston, ME - This week the Lewiston MAINEiacs play one game at home where they will host the Victoriaville Tigres of the western division on Wednesday - October 25th at 7:00pm at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee.

Lewiston enters the match-up 8-3-0-1, good for 3rd in the Eastern Division. The MAINEiacs have won 4 of their last 5 games - with the loss being in a shootout against Moncton. Victoriaville is ranked 7th in the Western Division with a 7-6-0-0 record. They come into Lewiston winning only 2 of their last 5 games.

This game features our Wet Wednesday promotion - where all domestic beers are JUST $2.00! That's 2 for the price of 1! Also during our second intermission we will continue with Lewy's Loot Shoot! - Where one lucky fan will win the chance to shoot from center ice into an OPEN net and win $600 CASH! The MAINEiacs finish the week off with a pair of games on the road at Mile One Stadium as they face-off against the St. John's Fog Devils on Saturday - October 28th (5:30pm EST) and Sunday - October 29th (2:30pm EST). Fans can follow the game by tuning into 1470 AM ESPN Radio for a live radio broadcast by Jeff Mannix. Pre-game shows begin 30 minutes before the start of the game.

This week some of the MAINEiacs players and Lewy the mascot will be making an appearance at Poland Community School on Tuesday - October 24th from 1:30-2:30pm. There, they will be presenting their Lewy's Read to Succeed Program and their Subway Goals for Success program. Players making the appearance are MAINEiacs captain Marc-Andre Cliche, goaltender Jonathan Bernier, forwards Eric Castonguay and Marc-Andre Daneau, and defenseman Kevin Marshall.
