
MAINEiacs take a 2-0 series lead with 4-3 victory over Shawinigan

Lewiston, ME - MAINEiacs continue their winning ways winning their 2nd straight post-season game, and 12th consecutive wins considering the 10-game regular season winning streak the finished with. Sebastien Piché tallied 2 goals and Simon Courcelles scored the game winner in the opening 4 minutes of the final frame. Bid Chad Denny was the other Lewiston goal-scorer blasting a one-timer from the point on the power play.
For the second consecutive game, Jonathan Bernier recorded the win for Lewiston, while Kevin Maletto took the loss for Shawinigan.
Lewiston travels to Shawinigan for games 3 and 4 of this opening best of 7 playoff series, with games on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 27th and 28th. Should a fifth game be required, it will take place at the Androscoggin Bank Colisée on Sunday afternoon, April 1st at 4:00 pm.
