LEWISTON, ME -- The Lewiston MAINEiacs begin a five game home stand this Friday and Saturday, with a pair of games against division rival Shawinigan. Both games are set for 7:00 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee box office, or by dialing (207) 783-2009.
A few special events will be taking place at this weekend's games.

Friday's Game vs. Shawinigan, 7:00
Good Shepherd Food-Bank Food Drive/Fundraiser, presented by Proctor & Gamble Help fight hunger in the state of Maine by bringing canned or non-perishable foods to the game. Food bins will be set up for fans to drop off food at the main gate entrance. In addition, Good Shepherd Food-Bank will be selling "Chuck-a-Pucks" to help raise money to fight hunger in the area. "Bates College Night" Students, alumni, faculty, and staff will be on hand, including the Bobcat Mascot!

Saturday's Game vs. Shawinigan, 7:00
Tailgate Party in the Shipyard Lounge Get ready for the game by joining us for good food and good music! Tailgate begins at 5:00 p.m. in the Shipyard Lounge at the Colisee. The classic rock band "Thunder Road" will perform in the lounge before and after the game. There will also be a soup and sandwich special for $6.75, so bring your appetite!
