Included in the cost is 12 hours of on-ice instruction with the MAINEiacs coaching staff, tournament registration fees, complete uniform (jerseys & socks) and team jacket. Also included for each team is an off-ice conditioning session with the MAINEiacs Athletic Therapist and Trainer Tom Bourdon.

Is there a way to help with the cost of Spring Hockey?

Yes. Players and parents will have the opportunity to sell tickets on a draw for a free registration for the Skills 'n' Drills summer hockey school in August. What tournament will we be attending?

The MAINEiacs Future Stars teams will be attending the V-Red Prospects Tournament in Fredericton, New Brunswick from April 30-May 2nd, 2010.

Long time prospect Jake Allen recently played for team Canada at the World Junior and the year prior backstopped Canada in Kazan, Russia to the World Under 18 gold medal. Another former V-Red player, Brandon Gormley is expected to be drafted in the 1st round of this years NHL draft, and QMJHL Superstar Sean Couturier is expected to go #1 overall in the NHL Draft in 2011. What Documents do I need?

As a result of the tournament being held in Canada, the players and those accompanying the players will need to have the proper documentation to enter Canada, and return to the United States following the tournament. If players are traveling to the tournament with an adult other than their parent or legal guardian, they will need a letter from their parent or legal guardian stating that the adult they are traveling with has their permission to take their child(ren) into another country.

Is my son or daughter insured?

Yes, they are insured here in the US. Like all development programs, we strongly suggest that when traveling outside of the country, you purchase some additional travel insurance as a precaution.
