
Magic, Bighorns To Host Tryouts For Upcoming D-League Season

RENO, Nev.-A pair of open tryout sessions for the 2009-10 Reno Bighorns have been set for early October, the team announced today. The Orlando Magic, one of Reno's two parent clubs, will host the first session, to be held in Orlando on Oct. 3-4. The second session will be held on Oct. 10-11 at the South Reno Athletic Club.
The first tryout session will be held in Orlando, Fla., at the RDV Sportsplex, the practice facility for the Orlando Magic. This session will begin on Oct. 3 from 12-3 p.m. ET, with registration beginning at 11 a.m. The session will conclude Sunday from 12-2 p.m. ET.
The second tryout session will be held in Reno, Nev., at the South Reno Athletic Club. This session will begin Oct. 10 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. PT, with registration beginning at 9 a.m. The session will conclude Oct. 11 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. PT.
All players interested in attending Bighorns tryouts must be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate by Nov. 19, 2008. In addition, interested players must submit all required forms, which can be found online at RenoBighorns.com. No incomplete registration will be accepted.
Players must submit a $150 non-refundable fee and all completed forms to: Reno Bighorns Player Tryouts, 250 Evans Ave., Reno, NV 89501. Money orders and cashiers checks should be made out to Reno Bighorns.
