
Macon's Jake Trask Named Warrior Player of the Week

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced Jake Trask of the Macon Mayhem is the Warrior Player of the Week for October 29-November 4.
Trask scored three goals, including one game-winner, added an assist and was +3 as the Mayhem swept a pair of games from Fayetteville last weekend.
On Friday, the Saskatoon, SK native scored once with the man advantage and assisted on the eventual game-winner in the second period as Macon doubled-up the Marksmen 4-2. The following night, Trask scored a pair of goals in leading Macon to a 4-1 win.
Now in his fourth season with the Mayhem, Trask currently tops the SPHL-Ëin goals (six) and power play goals (three-tied), while his league-best four game-winners are one short of his total for the entire 2017- 2018 season. Trask has also scored a goal in each of Macon's last five games, recording three consecu- tive multi-point outings, in leading the Mayhem to a 5-0-1 record to begin the season.
