MacMillan and DiPace Suspended

March 16, 2009 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2) News Release


ROCHESTER, MI--- The International Hockey League (IHL) announced Monday the following suspensions resulting from player actions during this past weekend.

Fort Wayne right wing Brad MacMillan has been suspended five (5) games for his actions during IHL Game #182, Kalamazoo @ Fort Wayne, on Saturday, March 14th. The suspension is being issued under Rule 29 (Supplementary Discipline) in relation to the elbowing major and game misconduct issued during the game. MacMillan will be ineligible to participate in the following games:

IHL Game #188, Fort Wayne @ Port Huron, Tuesday, March 17th

IHL Game #191, Port Huron @ Fort Wayne, Friday, March 20th

IHL Game #193, Fort Wayne @ Bloomington, Saturday, March 21st

IHL Game #197, Bloomington @ Fort Wayne, Sunday, March 22nd

IHL Game #200, Flint @ Fort Wayne, Wednesday, March 25th

Muskegon forward John DiPace has been issued a one (1) game suspension resulting from player actions during IHL Game #185, Muskegon @ Port Huron, on Sunday, March 15th. The suspension is being issued under Rule 29 (Supplementary Discipline) as a result of accumulation of game misconducts in the "other" category. DiPace will be ineligible to participate in the following game:

IHL Game #189, Muskegon @ Kalamazoo, Tuesday, March 17th
