Machine partners with Comcast SportsNet

The Chicago Machine is proud to announce a partnership with Comcast SportsNet for local television broadcasts of Chicago Machine games in the 2006 inaugural season. Three Machine games will be broadcast Sunday nights at 7:00pm on tape delay with one LIVE game on Saturday, June 24th at 7:00pm when the Machine takes on the Los Angeles Riptide at Benedictine University. There will also be a live feed from San Francisco on July 8th at 3:00pm when the Machine travels out to the Bay Area to challenge the San Francisco Dragons.
The announcing tandem for Chicago Machine telecasts on Comcast SportsNet features WGN AM 720 radio host Dave Kaplan handling play-by-play and Notre Dame men's lacrosse head coach Kevin Corrigan with color analysis.
"To have our games telecast on Comcast SportsNet in the Chicagoland area is very exciting for the Machine," stated Machine Head Coach Kevin Finneran. "We hope all of our fans and those just starting to learn about our team will be excited to watch this level of lacrosse on television and follow the team throughout our inaugural season."
