
Luke Stampeding Again, Damone Joins Force

GREENVILLE, S.C., Jan. 23, 2007 - Forward Luke Jackson has returned to the Idaho Stampede after completing a 10-day contract with the Los Angeles Clippers and the Sioux Falls Skyforce has acquired forward Damone Brown.
The 10th overall selection in the 2004 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jackson (6-7, 215) played in six games with the Stampede earlier this season before signing with the Clippers on Jan. 8. In his six games with Idaho he averaged 12.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 30.3 minutes per game. In three games with the Clippers he averaged 5.3 minutes, 1.0 point and 1.0 assist.
Brown (6-9, 220) was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round (37th overall) of the 2001 NBA Draft. He has played in 39 NBA games with the 76ers, Toronto, New Jersey and Washington, averaging 2.8 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. Brown is a D-League veteran of 100 games with Charleston and Huntsville, averaging 29.5 minutes, 13.8 points and 5.3 rebounds. He is 11th all-time in D-League scoring (1,376), 12th in all-time FGM (515) and 9th in all-time FGA (1,221).
Jackson is expected to be back in an Idaho uniform when the Stampede is host to Fort Worth on Wednesday. Brown will see his first action for Sioux Falls at Tulsa on Friday.
