OKC Energy FC News Release
OKLAHOMA CITY - Energy FC announced today Love's Travel Stops has joined the team as a partner by signing a multi-year agreement with the organization.
"Love's has always supported Prodigal's efforts to provide a high level of sports entertainment for Oklahoma," said Dave Frankenfield, director of marketing for Love's. "We are proud to expand that partnership with OKC Energy FC and excited to help provide another great family entertainment option to OKC. "
A significant portion of the partnership is an inflatable soccer field to be used by the Energy FC community team. The inflatable soccer field means the team can take Energy FC soccer anywhere to help grow the footprint of the Love's and Energy FC partnership. The soccer team is also hosting a pair of soccer camps for Love's during the 2015 soccer season, and fans at the games can participate in the partnership with the Love's Kiss Cam.
"Support from local companies like Love's is important to the current and future success of Energy FC," said Prodigal president Jeff Ewing. "Energy FC shares the same vision as Love's to grow their brand by being an integral part of the community. The portable, inflatable soccer field gives both parties an opportunity to grow together.".
Energy FC opens their season on the road against their in-state rival the Tulsa Roughnecks on March 28. The team's home opener is April 18 against Seattle Sounders 2 at historic Taft Stadium.
