Louisville, KY. - The Xtreme have signed defensive lineman Anthony Pruitt to their 2021 Indoor Football League roster.
Pruitt (6-3, 275, Kent State) joins the Xtreme for his third professional indoor season. Previously in the IFL with the 2019 Quad Cities Steamwheelers, he saw action in eight games and recorded 26 total tackles (17 solos), one sack, 2.5 tackles for loss and had two forced fumbles with two recoveries.
"Anthony is a versatile player in the trenches with the experience to contribute on both sides of the ball," said Xtreme Head Coach Mark Stoute. "He'll be a great addition to our team as we continue to add leadership and experience to our 2021 roster."
Pruitt played his collegiate career at Kent State where he received the Matt Ramser Award his senior season, given to members of the football team who best exemplifies the qualities of "courage, dedications, attitude, and commitment" as Matt did during his fight with cancer.
