March 16, 2021 - Indoor Football League (IFL) - Louisville Xtreme News Release

Louisville, KY. - The Louisville Xtreme have announced today the signing of former Tennessee Titan and University of Akron wide receiver Kwadarrius Smith. This will be his rookie season in the Indoor Football League.

Xtreme HC Mark Stoute was eager to bring Smith into the fold.

"Kwadarrius is equally as great a person as he is a football player. He's a true dual threat at receiver and kick returner. Our coaching staff will certainly appreciate his speed and athletic ability. We have added a significant piece to our offensive capability."

Smith (5'9, 170) was a dual-sport athlete at Akron for three seasons, also competing as a sprinter for the Mid-American Conference Champion track team.  As a senior, he finished second in receiving with 538 yards and three touchdowns on 33 receptions in eight starts. As a junior in 2017, Smith was third in receiving with 34 receptions for a team-high 726 yards and a team-best seven touchdowns to finish as the Zips' scoring leader with 42 points. Smith finished his collegiate career with 1,411 career receiving yards.  He played in the 2019 SPIRAL Tropical Bowl. The Orlando, Florida native has also spent time in the NFL signing with the Tennessee Titans in 2019.
