Lotzkar to the DL; Shaun Ellis Activated

The Cincinnati Reds have added RHP Shaun Ellis to the Blue Wahoos bullpen in wake of RHP Kyle Lotzkar getting placed on the disabled list for a right hip flexor strain.
Lotzkar has appeared in three games working a total of four innings. He's allowed five runs on nine hits with four walks and four strikeouts.
Ellis joins Pensacola from extended spring training in Goodyear, Arizona. The 6'4" righthander was originally drafted by the Phillies in the 32nd round of the 2008 draft, but has never appeared in a Minor League game. Ellis played three season of independent ball for Gateway (Frontier League), New Jersey (Canadian-American Association), and most recently with El Paso (American Association). A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ellis took last season off before being signed by the Reds this past January.
