Los Angeles Named FIFA World Cup 2026™ Host City

LOS ANGELES - FIFA today announced the selection of Los Angeles as an official host city for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ that will be played across Canada, Mexico and the United States. In a globally televised live announcement from New York City, Los Angeles was named among the cities that will host the first edition of the World Cup to feature 48 teams and three host countries in the tournament's history. This marks the first time three nations have been selected to co-host a FIFA World Cup™, and the event's first return to North America in 32 years.
