Jared Lorenzen threw for a UIFL record nine touchdowns, five to Harry Lewis, as Northern Kentucky posted a thrilling comeback victory, 63-52, at the Bank of Kentucky Center in Ultimate Indoor Football League action Monday.
Canton took its only lead 47-40 on the last play of the third quarter, but back-to-back touchdowns by Ricardo Lenhart and a uno by Dustin Zink changed the tide. The five touchdowns by Lewis tied a UIFL mark set by Aric Evans in the season's first week.
The River Monsters (4-1) will host Huntington (4-1) in a battle of first-place teams 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Bank of Kentucky Center.
