Lone Stars to give away house
July 28, 2004 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Fans that attend the Lubbock Lone Stars game Saturday night against the Corpus Christi Hammerheads could leave the game with a brand new home. That's because the Lone Stars and Betenbough Homes will team up and give away a house at halftime of this weekend's game.
One fan will get a chance to kick a field goal from the 20 yard line. If they make it they will be handed keys to a brand new home no strings attached.
Fans can sign up for the contest in the concourse area of the Lubbock Coliseum before and during Saturday night's game. To be eligible for the contest you simply have to purchase a ticket for the game and be present for the halftime kick.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
